What is the consequence of non-compliance?
Pursuant to the Sections of Offenses and Penalties specified in the Water Supply By-Law(PDF)

• A person who is convicted of contravention of Section 8 of the By-law (Schedule 3) can be fined up to not more than $100,000 for a first offense and any subsequent offense.
• In addition, a corporation that is convicted of contravention of Schedule 3 can be fined up to not more than $100,000 for both a first offense and any subsequent offense
